Choosing your adventures will be the only challenge.

Tayana’s Recommendations

From castles, rafting, biking, swimming, historical tours, golfing and hiking.. there is more than enough to keep you busy and having fun in Merano. The challenge will be CHOOSING what to do. And remember some of these activities will be organized.

  • ONLY FROM June 12 to June 14 ASFALTART https://asfaltart.it
Since 2007, Asfaltart has transformed the city of Merano into one big open-air stage every year. For three days, the historic center becomes a meeting place for wonder, laughter, art, and human connection. More than 30 artist groups from all over the world bring over 200 performances to the streets, squares, and theaters of Merano – open, vibrant, and free for everyone.
  • ONLY ON SUNDAY June 14 – Sacred Heart Sunday and Sacred Heart Fires (Herz-Jesu-Sonntag)
If you look out at the mountains from your hotel rooms on Sunday evening, or stroll along the promenade, you’ll be able to see fires burning on the mountain peaks and ridges – the Sacred Heart Fires. Tip: anyone heading to Dorf Tirol or Schenna in the evening (for dinner, drinks, etc.) will get a wonderful and closer impression of this centuries-old South Tyrolean tradition once dusk falls.
